Hi Anonymous,
I'm sorry you feel that way, I've gone through our records to attempt to reach out to you personally, but I'm having difficulty identifying you from the period you described. Admittedly, as a service orientated business we do have quieter times where it is difficult to support a large sized workforce, and you might have been subjected to cutbacks resulting from that, hence the feelings and experiences you described.
One thing I will state is that I do believe we do our best to shield and protect employees from the demands clients can place on a software development build. I take that job extremely seriously, and the fact you feel this way meant that for whatever job you are describing, I didn't complete my mission. If the period of time you worked with our organisation was a while ago, I can let you know that we now have tri-yearly review periods where feedback like you described is encouraged to be provided, we now have a "Career guidance councillor" who assists you all aspects of your career including training and mentor ship, and while I disagree with your statements that the "Boss thinks he knows it all" - as the CEO, I'm always open to learning experiences from any realm I can get them from, including this one.
That being said, reviews are apart of our culture, I know we have had numerous happy staff who have enjoyed their time with us (that is evidenced by them still attending our Christmas parties every year!) and I will attempt to balance this negative review by talking to them and getting them to write their feedback on this site (for full transparency). I obviously believe Experience Digital is a great place to work and want our Glassdoor profile to demonstrate that.
Anonymous, once again I'm sorry for your experiences with our business, and should you ever wish to reach out and talk to us about the way that we operate and your time here, I'm all ears.
Good luck in the future.
David Theodorou
CEO
