Pros

Experian offers great benefits and overall, most people are easy to work with. Remote flexibility and strong, collaborative product management and development teams.

Cons

Read the review from Feb 2026 that is titled "Catastrophic 2 year+ restructuring" as it is spot on. While companies should restructure, the way this was done resulted in little to no direction on who was taking on specific product responsibilities. In some cases people took on the roles of 3 different individuals, with no game plan on how multiple solutions in the queue would be managed or launched. On top of that, they have an annual tradition of fiscal year-end layoffs (typically starting around mid-March every year). Having years of experience in this industry is becoming more rare and one would think retaining that knowledge would be a priority, but more and more positions are later re-posted in other countries

Pros

Good work-life balance, fair, hybrid. Opportunities if you are in business or sales. Avoid if looking for a technical career.

Cons

Experian publicly advertises that they are a technology company, but operationally if you want to move ahead, in the business and sales area is where you want to be. Very little opportunity for engineers and technical. Experian has become more of a Fintech company in the last 5 years and leaves them vulnerable in bad economies.
