So many lies. This so called family friendly company let 15 employees go on the same day. 90% of those 15 had never even so much as had negative feedback. Expensify has “steps” to possible expulsion which were not followed for most. Woke up one day to no job, absolutely no reason why was given. Most let go had around 10 years on the job. Most let go were FEMALE! What was once an environment that was made to make you feel like family, has drastically changed. I would never recommend this company to people looking for work because you never know when the rug is pulled out from under you, especially if you are female. If you see a bunch of good reviews after this one, it’s because the CEO will ask everyone in the company to come and give a glowing review to combat each bad one. Been there, had to do that….I could go on and on about the “stock” options and what you are forced to buy into as well, but just trust me, you don’t want to any part of it. Don’t trust their job descriptions if thinking of applying, you will get tons extra piled on every single day that they don’t tell you about until you’re in the door. Burn out is high. Morale is very low. 50% of the company believe it will go under sooner than later, but they won’t admit that to the higher ups. Backstabbing happens a lot. Be prepared to be blindsided regularly.
