Pros
Your coworkers are fun to work with. The benefits are decent (but it was changing when i was there) and salary was competitive. I can't speak to these anymore, but it was true when I was there. You will learn a quite a bit there because you have no choice.
Cons
Not much room for growth in your career. There were too many cooks in the kitchen when I was there and then massive lay-offs happened that cleaned it out. Pretty much gutted the company. It was a small competitor when I got there and was even smaller when I left. It had growing pains and was slow to innovate which lead to a lot of financial problems. These changes are part of a directive given by a private equity company, and it gives the feeling that this is Exeter's last chance to prove itself before its cut off and left to die. This makes the environment there very uncomfortable.
