Do not recommend. - AR/AP Specialist Executive Speaking Employee Review

When I was at Executive Speaking, I truly felt like I was in a working environment where I was being listened to. If I wanted to try a new task, they would give me the opportunity to try it. I learned a variety of different skills during my time here, since each worker wore many different "hats" in the small office. The employees are incredibly kind, and were always available to lend a hand. Not only did I enjoy the people I worked with, but I knew that I could always count on them to help me on any projects I was confused working on. The CEO, Anett, was always willing to listen to any of my thoughts, and she really helped push me to be creative. Overall, my experience at Executive Speaking was very positive.

Some days can be hectic, but like I mentioned before, everybody in the office is willing to help when a lot needs to get done.

Coworkers were welcoming, patient, helpful and kind. Nice view of downtown Their product/service seems of good quality and helps clients improve. Bagels and coffee. Yay. There were times where I was able to flex some creativity and independence, but it was most often taken away and undone.

My time wasn't respected. It wasn't until halfway through my internship that Anett decided what my project was. I nearly felt bad that I had wasted so much company time working on now-irrelevant projects. With the new project being outside my interests and skills, and combined with the poor management, I quit early. Anett often gave unnecessarily harsh feedback. For example: "You missed the mark so bad on this one. Out of a 1-10 this was a 1." This is not leadership, and certainly not the right attitude for an internship. Morally below standards. Their email marketing tactics are illegal (buying email addresses for mass spamming). And I was also told it is true they coerced employees to write the positive reviews on Glassdoor.
