Pros

Can't think of many Pros to this position. Some flexibility in work scheduling was allowed.

Cons

Grandiose expectations on the part of management. Incompetent administration from the top down. Essentially no leadership skills that I ever saw. Somehow these people expect their medical professionals to deliver miraculous care with essentially no resources. They tell their patients they will be well taken care of, but in reality their membership fees pay for meager assessments, be they well health assessments or treatment of chronic diseases. Management have no clue what quality health care consists of or how to deliver it. Staff are essentially fast tracked into working positions with little to no orientation to the company's expected work flow. The electronic medical records system used by the company is the worst I've ever seen. Reading old notes on complex patients from other company practitioners is a nightmare. Company and management seem oblivious to and uncaring about these problems. In the time I worked for them the local branch lost two major contracts, had to close one of its local clinics, and appeared on the brink of losing even more. Company refuse to acknowledge responsibility for their failures, and blame is simply passed down the administrative line to the lowest and weakest available lightening rod. I can't imagine anyone I personally know or care about receiving their care at one of these clinics.
