1. Failed Merger - The merger between 3 entities has been an absolute disaster (and I've only been here for half of it). The lack of forethought and planning has caused angry clients, a mass exodus of employees, and major burnout among the employees still standing.
2. Lack of Transparency - In uncertain economic times, the entire organization was given reassurances that there would not be layoffs and that the company was financially stable...only to experience layoffs citing missed revenue goals as the cause a month later....
3. BURN OUT BURN OUT BURN OUT - The amount of time it takes to get one task accomplished at EW is unlike anything I've ever experienced. Teams work AGAINST one another - making it impossible to launch projects on time, provide deliverables to clients, or meet performance goals. It is exhausting to fight with cross functional teams and sucks any joy out of the job. Especially, when you're constantly receiving attitude during internal conversations only to get berated by clients due to the lack of follow-through on what they were promised in the sales process. We continue to lose great talent because everyone has lost their 'fight'.
4. No upward mobility - There's nowhere to go and it will stay that way for the foreseeable future.
