Pros
coworkers, free waxing, sales commission .. nothing else
Cons
well where do I start .. I came into this position as the store was going through some changes (management, new staff) so when I saw that nothing was organized, I figured it was just because they were just trying to get everything settled. I should have ran for the door. This company is by far the most unorganized, poorly run company I have ever had the misfortune of coming across. Every single employee is completely disposable, with no warning or notice. Maybe I should have realized that when the Lead GSA, who had been there for over a year, was their highest selling employee, had dropped out of college to work and completely dedicated her life to the company, was fired after a family emergency occurred & she could not come in (despite first finding coverage for her shift). The second warning came when the next employee, who had been there for 5 months and was there the longest, went on a week vacation (which we are promised in our employee handbook after working 90 days and was first ok'd by management), was told not to come back when she got home. After that, the "manager" decided to quit with no notice, leaving her key in an envelope for me to find when I had come to open the store. So, upper management decides to do their job and stroll in 2 or 3 times a week, only to give me a list of things the manager is supposed to take care of. Not knowing a thing about any of the employees or what goes on in the store, she must have been on a power trip. So then there was me. After being promoted to the Lead GSA , working my ass off, becoming the highest selling employee in the store with over 1,000 dollars in packages every day, working 60 hours a week because we were short staffed without a day off, training the new empoyees, basically stepping up and taking on all the responsibilities and hoping I would be acknowledged, I too were fired today with no warning or reason. When I got to work, there was someone else I'd never seen before already in my desk. So now, they have a full staff of people who have been there for less then 2 weeks. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. What an unbelievable joke this company is. Besides my bad experience, the company at a whole is completely unorganized, the management is terrible, their policies are atrocious and they treat all employees the same, no matter how loyal and hardworking you are. The turnover rate is horrendous. I hope someone does this to their kids one day. And as I read through these reviews, I see I am not the only person who feels the same about this company. Oh well, the way its run, it'll be closed within the next 2 years.
