The only pro that I can think of is that if you need to take a day off it is okay. It is not much vacation but you can take it when you need it.

The pay is very low. The owner is not very nice. He had meeting every day for about 30 minutes and wasting time. The owner is terrible. He always saying about money and this is too expensive. If reagents need for the lab it is a headache because he want to know everything you are using it for, even sulfuric acid that is standard in a lab. Everyday he is on everybody back about what they doing. This place is hell on earth. Everyday is the same thing. If the owner is not there it is perfect. Sometimes he just comes and stands over you and watch what you are doing and most times it is at the end of the day when you need to go home. I am so happy that I am not working there anymore. The building is also very bad. It looks like a house and it is always leaking and somethings always broken. It is very dirty and dusty because they are so cheap.

Family friendly environment. very considerate, good work life balance and a great opportunity to learn a lot of different techniques.

Lack of yearly salary increases based on performance, no policy for increase in vacation days, everybody gets basic 2 weeks, no sick or personal days, no bonuses, salaries are lower than industry standard, expected to perform extra work for no immediate reward, horrible health insurance plan. This place is very micromanaged. The president expects to be blank copied on every email and gets involved in everything. No trust in staff. There is no room for advancement. Feeling of being over worked while under paid.
