Pros
We work across borders, time-zones and phases of education, so there's a lot of collaboration and we all do it in a really supportive way. We're all working to improve education and people's opportunities in life, even if we're not directly in front of students or teachers ourselves. So, it feels good to be contributing to something apart from profits. Senior Management are all approachable, so you don't get any impression of 'us and them', and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in improvement initiatives, so you feel able to contribute.
Cons
Offices are few and far between, so opportunities for face-to-face meet-ups are largely dependent on the team/function/project you work in.
