Pros
Flexible work schedule Benefits Training
Cons
Limited paid time off your first 3 years. No bonuses, and limited raises. Management doesn't listen. Working in support is like working in a CALL CENTER/HELP DESK. The job ad is false advertised. You do not know what you are getting yourself into until you start working. You are MICROMANAGED. Working in support is all about metrics/numbers. If you do not meet your metrics one week, you are chastise. Working in support makes you feel like you are glued to your chair, answering calls all day. If you take a break, you are asked why you are not logged into your phone taking calls; you feel like you are not valued. My advise would be not to work in support unless you are looking to work in a help desk environment, taking calls all day. Maybe working in other parts of ESRI is better, but working in ESRI support is not something you would want to do or make a career out of.
