Pros
Great benefits, company culture, coworkers are extremely friendly and helpful. My branch has an open door policy and that’s a huge plus. Pension after 5 years and they will pay for you to obtain your adjusters license.
Cons
Work load. Having to wait for questions to be answered. Training is all online and if you do not have a good mentor, good luck. No overtime, unless home office allows it and it’s 4 hours max in a week. I enjoy being busy, the day goes by very quickly, but it is nearly impossible to get caught up day to day. 20 voicemails, 40 emails and 3 pages of activities to complete before days end. Supervisors are very understanding, at least mine is, but I truly think as many people that complain about the workload, erie should reevaluate somethings… or maybe explain why. A lot of people would be satisfied with just understanding the why of it all.
