Pros
Everything was good, from people to opportunities to grow professionally. The manager, the team and all other engineering colleagues are all very collaborative and allow us to innovate and explore new ideas.
Cons
I've been working at Ericsson for about 3 years. Recently, the company created a recognition platform to encourage employees to help each other. Each employee can send kudos to someone that helped them with some points that could be exchange for vouchers. I got plenty of those points by helping colleagues, but the voucher provider did something wrong in their side and gave me wrong vouchers. I didn't care as those are just invaluable points being converted to usable vouchers. The provider contacted Ericsson and the compliance team contacted me accusing me for using the wrong vouchers. They claimed that I didn't calculated the value in cash of each point (I thought what? You invent this abstract thing with some random number of points and now we have to spend time counting? Isn't it easier to give us the value in cash then?). Next day I was fired and the company took all rewards that I should receive for my additional contributions, including ideas, patents etc. I was basically treated as a criminal for a third-party mistake and forced to sign a consent document (otherwise they would not pay anything).
