Don’t be fooled, no one here knows what they’re doing - Lease Analyst Equitymetrix Employee Review

I am writing to address a review posted on Glassdoor on January 22, 2014 that contains several false statements and factual inaccuracies made by a former lease analyst. The statement regarding project reporting, “taking up an inordinate amount of time and produc[ing] 0 results,” is incorrect. EquityMetrix tracks key metrics on each project to ensure that all deliverables are completed and objectives met. No doubt there can be a difference of opinion regarding the time required for such reporting; however, the demands of such on lease analysts are minimal. The resulting data has enabled us to identify inefficiencies and streamline our processes. In the following sentence, the reviewer states, “I never saw one project brought in on time or under budget.” I have managed several major projects in my time at EquityMetrix and all have been delivered to our clients both on-time and under budget. Further, lease analysts are not privy to project financial information so the writer has no knowledge of actual project financial details. The reviewer's statement that there is no accountability is also false. All employees are required to meet certain expectations depending on the task they are performing. Following each phase of a project, employee performance is measured and recorded. Failure to meet expectations is met with direct consequences, just as meeting or exceeding expectations is rewarded. While I appreciate that a former employee may negatively recall his time at EquityMetrix, the tone of this review is more vindictive than objective. This is particularly upsetting to current employees of EquityMetrix who feel that this is a personal attack that does not reflect the true culture of our company.
