Pros
- Benefits such as competitive pay (for the games industry), daily catered lunches, great insurance, unlimited PTO (for US employees), and quarterly bonuses - A general drive to want to create the best and most innovative tools possible - Smart acquisitions for long term success - Still a private company lead by longtime industry veterans
Cons
- Growing pains, since I've been here the company has grown to almost 8 times the number - Big plans for the future, coupled with uncertainty of success leads to a lot of pressure felt company-wide - Often delivering developer tools as a service to be updated over time rather than when they are finished and polished - Fast paced environment with very little structure for the size, often feels like multiple little teams operate independently from each other
