The CEO is not present or involved in any of the day to day operations for the last few years. Upper management doesn’t understand what it means to manage people. Unless you’re part of the good ol’ boys club, good luck advancing in the company. The tech stack is about 8 years behind the times with no hope of changing due to a terrible “why buy it when we can build it?” mentality.
There are so many talented people who are under utilized at the company and they will continue to leave because management doesn’t know what it means to take care of the basic needs of there employees. It’s so much more about money to them than it is about making a difference in people’s lives. It’s not a difficult process to genuinely get to know your employees, see that they understand the fundamentals of their jobs, and provide them the tools to do their work. They can take it from there.
