Pros
- some nice people in the team - lucky to have a down to earth, approachable and supportive direct female leader/manager
Cons
- All work, no play, no fun, no budget for fun - Workplace mentality/company culture is very dated and on the lower end in comparison to other companies. i.e. no paid mental health days (whilst other companies provide 4 of these a year), no team building activities or off days for the team to go offsite. Any form of activity is expected to be done during or after work hours - Culture is a little outdated; e.g. no room for flexible, working from home once or twice a week even post covid19. i.e. we are already expected to come back into the office - Due to the nature of the business, you feel guilty taking a day off. You will return to work stressed or crippling from anxiety ( a common thing amongst the team). You will end up logging in at 6am and logging off at 9pm without recognition. - No work life balance or benefits and would be rated on the bottom of my list in comparison to other organisations and past positions
