Pros

Remote work. THAT’S IT.. Not one single other “pro” comes to mind. IMPORTANT: Keep in mind while reading- this is not a review written by a disgruntled employee that can’t “hang” or keep up with workflow. This is a review from someone who meets and exceeds productivity requirements every single day. A person that goes above and beyond, does everything asked of them and puts in overtime to help. Someone who asks for/needs very little and is a very low maintenance employee.

Cons

Where to start. Unrealistic and ridiculous expectations, LITERALLY zero time off. No human empathy for things that happen that are out of your control. Extremely strict attendance policy (policy is more rigid than any job I’ve ever had- it’s embarrassing to even tell people about the policy- I think inmates in the county jail have more freedom than we do) Manipulative and toxic environment. Being gaslit daily. If you have children, YOUNG children, be prepared to miss milestones, school plays, back to school night, teacher conferences and ALL of their sports/games. And don’t dare expect to have time off if they are sick. Even an hour taken unplanned (unplanned= not approved for PTO- Which never gets approved anyway but obviously, you can’t plan for your kid to be sick and take off in advance ANYWAY) They have this ridiculous attendance point/system. This company offers ZERO work and home balance. And there is no possible way that leadership abides by the same set of attendance point policies/rules. They would all have 727627171 points by now. If your computer messes up, regardless of whether you are directly responsible for the issue, you are forced to use your PTO while the IT team remotely handles the issue. Yeah, that’s right. You have to use your PTO to make up for the hour or so, that it takes IT to sort out the programming issue. And truth be told, that is the only time you will get to use your PTO. Because time off is very hard to come by here. You also will be forced to use your PTO for holiday “parties” and when we were in office for “luncheons” and things like that. I had more freedom when I was a little tyke on the playground in elementary school. Flex schedule was promised to ALL departments but for some reason, my department seems to be the only one that “is not eligible” for flex schedules. How convenient. Three years now, we have been told no flex schedule for us! I could literally go on and on. I think anyone reading gets the point…

Thank you so much for your review. Communication with each other, our team members, leaders, and across the company is imperative to the success of Ensemble and the results that we produce for our clients. Each and every day our associates have the chance to meet with their team and their leader to talk about what’s working, ways to improve, and things that are going on around the company. Every week, our senior leadership team sends out communication to all of our associates, no matter their location. We have a newsletter, a company intranet, additional weekly e-mails that are sent to our associates, and many other different ways that we communicate across our company. We provide countless opportunities to speak up about ways to improve our company, and we encourage this each and every day. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Pros

Flexible work schedule. Work remotely 100% of the time.

Cons

DAILY pressure and extreme stress. You will be in constant fight, flight or fear mode. There's a heavy emphasis on productivity, and KPI's without resources, tools or clear direction to accomplish either. They want to be a innovative and forward thinking/moving organization but they're missing the mark. Whatever the client wants, the client gets regardless of the impact it will have on the team and department. We work at the behest of the client, not the other way around. Ensemble started out with good intentions I believe, but somewhere along the way and the pursuit of 'revenue' they've lost their way, with no signs of ever getting 'it' (whatever 'it' is) back. Don't do it! It's not worth your sanity.
