Pros

Employees are friendly. Company has some moderate opportunities for advancement.

Cons

The pay rate is an insult. I have been with the company for years working my keister off and I am still making less than $34,000 annually. Management constantly gives you more responsibility without any reward. Most departments are months behind with customer requests due to short staffing and they do not seem to give a corn farthing about it. The employees were ordered by senior management to act as spotters on glassdoor and social media to give five star ratings about Ensemble to boost their online reviews.

Ensemble is going after enormous goals. We are helping American healthcare get the money it needs to improve the quality and accessibility of care. Our pace of growth exceeds that of Uber and even rivals Twitter. Very few private companies reach billion dollar valuations. Fewer still manage to do it in just over 4 years. Going after goals like ours is not for the feint of heart. This is an organization of extraordinary people who make things happen and being a part of that opens up huge possibilities for careers. We regularly engage third party industry analysts to ensure that we have highly competitive compensation packages that include strong benefits, incentive plans and multiple pathways for education and advancement. We offer a quarterly and annual Incentive payout to drive the entire organization toward similar goals, providing associates with a consistent financial reward based on achievement of key performance indicators and customer satisfaction. The starting point for determining your pay is the job you do. Each job is assigned a market reference point (MRP) based on the value of that job in the market. Multiple salary surveys of what other employers pay for the same or similar job are used to arrive at this “going rate,” or MRP. The MRP assumes an associate is fully competent in their job. It is industry standard for newer associates and associates just learning their roles to generally be paid lower than the MRP. Pay for associates whose contributions, experiences and performance significantly exceed what is required to do the role may be above the MRP. Salary increases are determined by: · Your performance · Your pay relative to your MRP · Dollars available in the company’s annual budget. It is absolutely true that we encourage employees to share their Ensmeble experience on recruiting websites. We hear from employees every day talking about how much they appreciate the culture, opportunity, philanthropy and growth at Ensemble. We feel that is important for them to share because we want to continue to attract and hire the best. We also regularly encourage our associates to use the many feedback channels that we provide, both direct and anonymous, to ensure that we can continue to make Ensemble a great place to work. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts here, but we’re much more interested in working with you to create a better experience. We strongly encourage you to bring your ideas to the daily DIBS, monthly team meeting and/or quarterly town hall. We have an open door policy for leadership including at the highest level. If you have ideas to share please feel free to e-mail TellShannon@ensemblehp.com. As for as client delivery, the simple bottom line is: we don’t fail. We very closely monitor progress on all client performance and current processes. We have 100%, reference-able client satisfaction. As with any business, there are times when you are ahead and times when you are behind. Exceptional operators know how to function and deliver in both circumstances and we are very fortunate to have thousands of such operators. Shannon White, President, Ensemble Health Partners

Pros

Flexible work schedule. Work remotely 100% of the time.

Cons

DAILY pressure and extreme stress. You will be in constant fight, flight or fear mode. There's a heavy emphasis on productivity, and KPI's without resources, tools or clear direction to accomplish either. They want to be a innovative and forward thinking/moving organization but they're missing the mark. Whatever the client wants, the client gets regardless of the impact it will have on the team and department. We work at the behest of the client, not the other way around. Ensemble started out with good intentions I believe, but somewhere along the way and the pursuit of 'revenue' they've lost their way, with no signs of ever getting 'it' (whatever 'it' is) back. Don't do it! It's not worth your sanity.
