Pros
When I interviewed with Ensemble, they did a great job of showing me why I wanted to work here. In my humble opinion, Ensemble is an excellent place to work. I am thankful that I was blessed with the opportunity to work for this organization. The very thing that makes Ensemble shine is the culture and the passion of the staff. This passion and drive can be found at the most entry level positions all the way to the CEO. I can speak from experience that this is not something very common in healthcare. I have worked in several facets of healthcare and revenue cycle. I have worked on the payer side, the provider side, the clearinghouse side, and the billing software side. For the first time in my career, I feel like I am in the right place. I feel that I am in a place that I can grow with the support of leadership. My direct leaders as well as the organization's leaders are among the most supportive that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. They are passionate about what they do but they are just as passionate about their associates as well. They pride themselves on hiring quality talent that grow within the company. They are very dedicated to growing leadership from within and that speaks volumes about the character of our leadership. I feel at home here and I feel inspired and motivated as opposed to being stressed out. Since I came to Ensemble, I am happier than I have ever been in my career. I don’t complain about work; I don’t dread coming to work. It's a great environment with a tremendous amount of talent. I am especially proud of my team and my department as they are some of the most talented staff I have ever had the privilege of working with. I came here with the expectation that I would be supported and encouraged to not only grow as an employee, but as a person as well.
Cons
No organization is without its flaws, that is just life. I could sit here and pick apart bits and pieces to come up with cons but is that fair? Is that what we should do with people as well? As I stated in the "Pros" section, I have been all around in healthcare. I have seen the industry from many sides that most have not. If there is a TRUE problem at Ensemble, our leadership works incredibly hard to make it better. The support, training, and resources offered here are not typically found anywhere else. I have found those who do pick apart the organization take Ensemble for granted. When you read a review, you must look beyond the content itself. How many times have you read a review online where the person leaves a negative review that really has nothing to do with the product itself? Employer reviews are no different. Ensemble pushes you to go above and beyond your job description so if you're complacent, this organization isn't a good fit for you.
