Pros
They are an EXTREMELY cash rich company. They’ve basically never had debt, they’ve basically never laid anyone off. It’s a decent company as a first job as you learn a lot. The pay is not terrible for engineering especially if you stick around for a bit.
Cons
It’s abundantly clear that management is asleep at the wheel. The CEO is a part of no joke 10+ companies, and so he obviously doesn’t really care a lot about this one in particular. Everyone below him in senior management is an extremely bitter and bullheaded business guy who makes a killing to keep things exactly the way they are. Management only makes changes reactively, not proactively. There is absolutely nothing this company despises more than spending money on anything. The software here is absolutely atrocious and the worst part of the job. It’s all in house written programs that cause many lost hours of productivity a week.
