Pros

Experienced HR brains Lots of love in the team Cool office

Cons

We laugh about these blogs that we post that are so opposite to how we work! 35 hours per week? For those few that are favoured yes. The rest feel penalized if we try to stick to that. And I would rather be more transparent about hours actually worked and would prefer other perks like better communication and respect!

Pros

-Full WFH Environment (contractual) - a rarity these days and a real perk if you like the flexibility! -T2200 support for writing off home office expenses (helps!) -Kind and caring coworkers, strong and growing business and client base -Decent schedule flexibility and reasonableness -Perks such as paid time off over the Holiday shutdown period & paid Friday afternoons off in summer months -Very good Professional Development support [as an HR Consulting firm this is a great perk and good investment for company!] -Leadership team tries hard to be fair and supportive -A great year-end holiday party and celebration, team members are invited to travel (company paid if they live out of town) and costs are covered. Locals also offered to stay at hotel at company expense {Very generous].

Cons

-Compensation is somewhat below market, with no formalized incentive pay opportunity for top performers [Opportunity here to further drive performance and business growth!] -Benefits and total compensation are below market for an HR Consultancy, however they seem to be evolving and improving recently as the company continues to grow and thrive! -Workload can be quite high at times, yet balanced with quieter periods (takes adjustment, overall it's fair and reasonable]

Pros

Working at Engaged has honestly been one of those rare "this is how work should feel" experiences. The people are the standout. My coworkers are smart, collaborative, and genuinely good humans (the kind who will jump in to help without making it a whole thing). There's a strong team mentality, even though we're often working across different clients, projects and all remote! The work itself never gets stale. Because we support a wide range of clients, every project brings something new from different industries, different challenges, and real opportunities to problem-solve in meaningful ways. It keeps things interesting and constantly builds your skillset. Leadership is supportive without hovering. There's a high level of trust, which means you're given the space to do your job well, while still having the guidance when you need it. Management is approachable, transparent and actually listens (which lets be real, is not the case everywhere). There's also a strong culture of growth and development. You're encouraged to stretch, take on new challenges, and keep evolving professionally without feeling like you're thrown into the deep end without support.

Cons

The pace can be busy at times (but that's also part of what makes it engaging)
