Smart engineers hindered by stagnant growth and poor leadership - Director Enernex Employee Review

Enernex is a lifestyle business, not a growth business. Company has failed to grow revenue significantly in over a decade. Most revenue comes from one client which dictates company direction and careers. Has lost 40% of its most experienced staff since first of the year and is replacing these slots with younger and less expensive people. Sales pipeline is dead primarily due to inexperienced leadership and eccentric biases. Worst career decision I have ever made coming here - I ignored the rumors and that was a mistake. Company has a bad reputation due to alch0hol consumption on the job. Staff was frequently w@steed anytime I visited onsite. Smart engineers with no business acumen at all. Leadership wants to keep just enough business coming in to maintain their position without losing control. However this results in nonexistent career growth for everyone else. Bonuses are small and don’t payout until 2 years.
