Pros

Energy Services is an amazing place to work because of the opportunity to help people maintain heat and electric in their homes. Also, it's a great way to help people replace their furnace or hot water heaters for home owners. Knowing you are helping make a difference feels good.

Cons

The organization and structure of many of the positions are not well-designed. Also, the training that’s offered is sparse, with very few training materials or manuals. There’s a state online training, but that’s only two days, at most. With no guidance and such minimal training, it’s not surprising that the intake specialist is held responsible for any errors. And, to make matters worse, there’s no opportunity for advancement or development. It’s not a great environment if you’re looking for growth.

Pros

Had good co-workers. I had a good supervisor. I feel good knowing I'm working for a good cause and not for some shareholder.

Cons

Sometimes the office get quiet.

Pros

None, There are no pros

Cons

Although they say they are about helping people, they are really all about numbers. How many apps can you download in a day? There are intake specialist who come in extra early and create 80 applications in a day, so everyone else is measured up to them. QA has told managers it is not about the quality of apps but quantity. They just want the apps created so they can please the state with a number. The CEO Tim is an egotistic micromanager. He will say the same "jokes" over and over again. " I look good in red, blue or whatever shirt he is wearing, but not in orange" " I thought about doing drug tests but I wouldn't have employees left" A past politician that you cannot trust. Think you're going to be appreciated, you are not. Want to work for a company that does something for Christmas, nope, I once asked what we did for Christmas and was told "You have the day off what more do you want?"
