Pros
Enel is a great place to work. In the control room there is a sense of comradery due to the relative isolation of the job. The floor plan is the open model but the control room is an enclosed space due to regulations. The hours are very good (rotating shift work) but not great if you have a family or loud roommates. I get paid overtime yet feel like I'm never at work. The cafe is amazing. I mean seriously they throw down in the kitchen and the prices are reasonable for the quality (~$5-$8 lunch). There are free coffee machines with just about everything you can imagine.
Cons
Located just off I-495 the traffic can be pretty bad, especially if you live in/around Boston. Enel is expanding all the time, which is a PRO, except sometimes your job description adapts to fit the companies needs.
