Pros
Met some good people here.
Cons
The whole company treats people like numbers. I made a stupid mistake to quit my actual full time job to work a "full time" job here. You start off with 4 hours a week and work your way up (if you can meet their quota) and if you cannot, they let you go immediately. I don't understand how constant recruiting is cheaper and less time consuming than taking the time to train someone. Constantly new candidates being called in for an interview. Every morning they have a meeting where they repeat cliche quotes and blast clubby music which is unprofessional in my opinion. Keep in mind that this a SALES job. It does not matter what position you apply for (manager, specialist, coordinator) it is the SAME position. You are selling items at Canadian Tire. The building is dirty (especially the bathroom) and old. To be "promoted", all you get is a certificate and more responsibility and no pay increase.I have met some really motivated and wonderful people here but it is too bad that they are brainwashed. Please, to those who have a full time job, do not leave it to go here. For others who are desperate for a job, I still would not recommend it. Save your time and effort. They take advantage of students and tell you a bunch of false information to make the job seem great, and it is not. No benefits. No trust in employees.
