Pros
Everyone who isn't a family friend or family member bands together to support each other since support from upper management is pathetic and half-hearted at best.
Cons
The company atmosphere is constantly unstable. The CEO acts like a spoiled teenager who makes decisions on the fly. He doesn't follow through on his word unless that includes making him more money at the expense of others. Management is not chosen based off of qualifications, but on family relationships and power trips. The starting pay was average, but your starting pay is also your ending pay. They don't give raises, they like to rip off your commission, and the opportunity for growth is zero. They have solid business ideas, but not the wherewithal to successfully execute any of them. The fact that this company is still in business is astounding. Although, the CEO is known for treating companies like disposable wipes- get the most use out of them and then throw them away and get another, so Encore's days seem numbered. You could find another job making the same money without half of the stress and instability.
