Pros

High wage compensation for per diem employees Made lifelong friends

Cons

High workload/patient to nurse ratio Forms to fill out if you stay late, which cause you to stay even later Early hours The more proficient you become the higher the workload No bonuses, rewards are based on a point system specific to the company No admission nurse Many unstable clients admitted Short training & interrupted due to poor staffing

Pros

Great team to work, people are always willing to help each other. The clinicians genuinely care about their patients and it shows every day. You feel like you’re making a difference in patients’ lives. Good teamwork between departments. Leadership listens to feedback and wants the hospital to keep improving. Positive work environment with coworkers who care about doing a good job.

Cons

Healthcare is busy, so some days can be stressful. Things can change quickly, so you have to be flexible. Communication between departments can always improve. Like most hospitals, staffing can be tight at times.
