Smaller sized company was not able to absorb a hit to a long-standing contract.

Easy interview and they offered me a job.

1) Poor communication 2) Lack of leadership with management 3) The client with which this company works is difficult. That is the reason they rush to take developers without technical interview with client team. I’m suggesting developers who interview with this company to meet the client, ask questions about the technology they use, etc and then make an informed decision.
