Pros
Mostly everyone here is really nice and depending on which department you work for, working here can be really easygoing. The brothers of the company are nice and easy to talk to, but there are honestly way too many CONS than PROS.
Cons
Again depending on which department you work for, it can be EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED. I thought that because it is a family business and a much smaller company, the environment would be very collaborative. IT IS NOT COLLABORATIVE. I will definitely say though the environment is very laidback, but there is still a huge turnover rate in some areas for a reason. If you work as a sales assistant, there is definitely no room for growth. The current salespeople have been with the company for years and you will never move up unless they maybe leave the company. If you are in the accounting/tech department, everyone is super nice there and I believe people in that department have been with the company for years. There are a several people who have been with the company for 10+, 15+, 20+, 25+ years which is really impressive. The brothers of the company are nice, but at the end of the day they really don’t care about you. They are so busy with work they don’t have time to think about their employees and take care of them. There is no hand holding here. If you work here, you must figure everything out on our own with minimal help. If you are starting your career, this is not the place for you. Everyone is mostly on the older side – not many young people. Just FYI I am not here to bash on the company, but to give an honest review about my experience so others know what to expect. So to conclude everything I just said... if you plan on working here make sure you know what you are getting yourself into. Also health insurance is expensive here and there are basically no benefits.
