You can become efficient enough to get the job done in a short amount of time.

Empire dropped the ball on their transportation department when they filled it with leadership with limited route driving experience. The best drivers had to take up the slack for poor logistical decisions made in the morning. No accountability by transportation leadership when short staffed. Transportation leadership plays more of an hr role being they can't or not required to participate in the delivery process. Nepotism is tolerated. Communication is poor.
