Pros
The leadership at Embark has done a wonderful job selecting motivated big 4 CPAs that genuinely want to see everyone around them succeed. I believe that at any time I can voice feedback which is valued and taken into consideration or acted on by leadership. Our team has always been provided with top-notch resources to get our jobs done, not to mention the 400+ Embarkers that we can reach out to with any questions. Overall, I believe that Embark provides a great growth opportunity for ambitious ex big 4 CPAs that have a passion for helping people (clients & peers) to make their lives easier.
Cons
The consulting role requires times of rapid learning to understand a potentially new industry, accounting standard, etc., therefore this role is not ideal for those looking for complacency and / or repetition in their career.
