Never ever work at this joke.. A day here consists of managers trying to bully staff, Pushing them to breaking point. Training what never happens. The Manager's the biggest clowns known to man all lie and bully staff ( I have more proof of this ) Then you get the false hopes of a pay rise better positions, Just avoid at all cost nothing here but your mental health and health destroyed. The building is a death trap, nothing is safe, The health and safety moron needs locking up for thinking he does a good job.. The roof leaks everywhere, Bits fall down, lethal smoke, dust an fumes no extraction, pigeons poo all over the building too.. Your health is more important than this joke.

Flexible working hours give a better work/life balance. As long as I get my 37.5 hours in, I can leave at 3pm on Fridays. The business is an employee owned trust. We have chosen a representative from our office that attends meetings to ask questions or make suggestions on behalf of the staff. We then get given the minutes from the meeting. Many people have worked here for over 20 years and progressed into senior positions. A few people have left the business and returned to work here. The life insurance and discount portal is a nice to have. Everyone is eligible to join the bonus scheme without buying shares in the business. (some businesses make you pay for shares). The bonus scheme pays a small amount, when the company hits a certain profit level. The company has recently started offering more NVQs, especially in office roles such as trainee quantity surveyor and trainee estimator. It's comforting for me to know that the people are experts in what they do and the types of construction projects are varied. One week you could be working on a prison, then the next week you could be working on a stadium or office block. They have a high customer satisfaction rate that shows that clients will choose to work with Elland Steel time and time again. Discounted bus passes through First Bus. Free car parking on site. ( I've previously had to pay for parking, so this is a bonus for me).

The offices could be more modern. Could offer a cycle to work scheme. Could implement EV charging points.
