Pros
Benefits are excellent which include medical, dental, vision and tuition reimbursement. Overall a good group of people to work for. Very diverse and the organization encourages associates to join employee resource groups. I worked from home for about three years of the eight years that I worked for the Anthem/WellPoint.
Cons
Difficult to move around within the organization unless you know someone. Unrealistic production and quality expectations as there is a lack of training in most of the departments. People are not accountable for their work. There are some good managers but some depend on their leads too much and have obvious lack of leadership skills. Changes in health insurance and with the company acquiring Cigna means that jobs are starting to be cut. No job is secure but people are on edge as they started a recent round of layoffs.
