Pros
none I can think of
Cons
I've been observing this place go downhill since Gail stepped in as CEO. I really hoped and expected she would take things the right direction but instead it has been declining in all areas for a number of years now. For those who don't know this, just look at all the numerous layoffs this company has had. From one poor decision to the next poor decision, it is the little people under Gail who has to pay for her and her executive team's poor decisions. RIFs are rampant here. No one is safe here. One of the things she has forced is to make us return to office. Before she was even CEO, I was fully remote at this company for a number of years and giving my all and exceeding expectations. Yes Gail, its possible to actually WORK from home contrary to what you old school fools believe. I get more work done from the comfort of my home than in the office where I had to put up with chatter all around me, gossip and useless activities that took away from my productivity. From home, you got more than 50 hours a week from me. Forcing me in to the office means you don't get a minute over 40 hours from me. I will not be working until 2 AM in the office. The dept I'm in has also gone downhilll so fast I'm just at a loss for words how sorely missed my old staff vp is and as much as we hated him, things ran well under his leadership. New leadership is horrible. I watched many colleagues leave, by choice and only realized too late why they left. New staff vp promoted all her friends into leadership roles. Around here, its not what you know, its who you know. Imagine having to report to a dummy who doesn't know left from right but ends up getting the credit for all you do and getting promoted TWICE. #QDM
