Pros

Although expensive, decent benefits There are/were some good managers in the organization

Cons

Layoffs are way too frequent and nonsensical as it left gaps/holes in how the work can be done. Stellar performers were laid off only to be in a pool of 2k other people trying to apply for open roles. Amidst layoffs, there are roles open for basically the same jobs and they’re hiring! People are getting demoted (they call it reorganization or restructure) but it’s clear they’re demoting people to eventually do more layoffs and not have to pay as much in SUB benefits as they don’t have a true severance. The CEO mentions shareholders in calls every 4 seconds and masks all efforts in virtuous pursuits. They’re pursuing a digital strategy at all costs but have no idea how to approach it. They hired a new digital leader who had public issues with both Nike and Kohl’s…the list goes on. Lastly, they are forcing people back in office. Such an oxymoron for a company that wants to be a digital leader but isn’t smart enough to employ digital efforts for their onshore employees - yet there’s a push to automate and our jobs are going offshore to folks who CANNOT work in office.

Pros

Good Benefits and insurance Groceries benefit School reimbursement Gym benefits Hospital indemnity Insurance Remote work convenience

Cons

Pay rate never really goes up. Prefer to promote inexperience outsiders than from within. Low pay At the whim of Manager Favoritism Political Pretentious Metrics based of friendship with Management Hard to move up of you don’t suck up to a Manager or be political or be part of their click and group. QIP is also at the whim of the manager. Faulty metrics where you are blamed for FCR failures even when you fixed the issue on your first call and but because the member called in multiple times to other associates who didn’t help. Or do their job, they blame you for first call resolution when you never talked to the member till you resolved it. This is really messed up and it affects your QIP.
