Pros

The pay is excellent. I think. The learning opportunities are good as well.

Cons

RTO ( return to office) is not a positive at all. I like so many others out here and that I work with, were hired as a remote workers . I even saved my email confirming that my position was a remote one. My current one as well. As stated by several others there was a push pre COVID to do this. The claim of collaboration is nonsensical. I collaborate with people all the country on a daily basis.I personally don’t go to work make friends, I work to support my family. The idea that being face to face increases productivity is unfounded. We are not on an assembly line. My team is not even in my state. I have the expectation that the one’ s in sr leadership pushing this are more than willing to drive away talented people for the sake of not letting go their archaic and draconian management ideas. It’s no secret that the desire of management is to create a Borg like workforce, they push “corporate culture” and have catch phrases of mentoring and collaboration but reading between the lines one can only infer that a smaller lockstep work force is their desire.

Pros

Good Benefits and insurance Groceries benefit School reimbursement Gym benefits Hospital indemnity Insurance Remote work convenience

Cons

Pay rate never really goes up. Prefer to promote inexperience outsiders than from within. Low pay At the whim of Manager Favoritism Political Pretentious Metrics based of friendship with Management Hard to move up of you don’t suck up to a Manager or be political or be part of their click and group. QIP is also at the whim of the manager. Faulty metrics where you are blamed for FCR failures even when you fixed the issue on your first call and but because the member called in multiple times to other associates who didn’t help. Or do their job, they blame you for first call resolution when you never talked to the member till you resolved it. This is really messed up and it affects your QIP.
