Pros
Work from home is good - no noise and interruptions (besides via instant messaging). Most staff are self aware professional & mature. My 2 favorite company core values are "Caring" & "Easy to do business with". Compensation and sign on bonuses are good. Process oriented and they think through the best way to handle work.
Cons
Process oriented to the point of inflexibility. Very hierarchical, no exposure to management above who you report to, which means not allot of opportunity to advance or shine. The leaders are dictatorial and are not open to opinions. So if you disagree, you'd better agree or risk losing your job/feeling threatened - no persuading opportunities here. There is zero tolerance for risk or mistakes. Benefits are very expensive and based on how much you earn. Very conservative culture and very political. Management has to agree on everything which makes change slow. Constant change at the top (every year) based on politics impacts employees negatively. Departments are competitive and bad mouth each other. Doesn't feel like a partnering culture.
