Pros

Supportive Leadership & Culture - Management genuinely cares about employees and creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. If you have a question, someone is always there to help or point you in the right direction - no gatekeeping or politics. True Work-Life Balance - 100% remote with flexible hours. As long as you meet deadlines and attend scheduled meetings, you control your schedule. No micromanaging or boundary issues. Exciting & Unique Work - Working on themed entertainment projects (theme parks, museums, attractions) means you're doing cutting-edge A/V work that most companies don't touch. Every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities. Investment in Employee Growth - Company pays for professional training and development out of pocket. Clear career advancement paths with real opportunities to move up. Excellent Collaboration Tools - Strong tech stack (Teams, email, specialized project tools) makes remote collaboration seamless and efficient. Transparency & Improvement - Leadership openly acknowledges past growing pains and actively works to improve. Recent all-hands meeting showed strong financial growth and commitment to maintaining positive culture.

Cons

As the company continues to scale (200+ employees now), some growing pains are inevitable, though leadership is actively addressing these challenges on a daily basis.

Pros

- It’s no secret that Electrosonic does the coolest jobs in the AV industry. - Jobsites are often clean, granted… there is heavy construction too. PPE is always given when requested. Brand new. - Talented and enthusiastic co-workers. - If you are having a problem on site, wether it be a client, other trades, or even a coworker..IT WILL BE DEALT WITH. Don’t ask for help if you are going to regret it. - Travel to some incredible places around the USA and sometimes international - Hotel accommodations are alway decent. Sometimes even stellar. No motels. Ever - Training is paid for or reimbursed. - Downtime is paid. Many shops will bench you if work is slow, ESI will encourage you to complete training on downtime. - There is plenty of room for promotions and growth, as long as you are willing to be vocal. Your work speaks for itself, but you still need to follow up.

Cons

- As with any non-union shop, you have to negotiate your rate when you sign on. Set a goal/range and stick to it. The raises take a while, but they do come. Be patient or vocal. - Couple of years ago they changed from GSA rate per diem to a flat 65 when traveling domestically. Very disappointing. - Health benefits are not great, and very expensive if selecting a family plan. If you are flying solo or can stay on your spouses insurance, you should be okay.
