Pros

Electronic Arts is the biggest video game company in the world and because it is big it has many advantages versus other companies in the field. When you go an look for a new job everyone who looks to hire you knows instantly that you have a solid background in the industry versus working at a much smaller place that people don't know what their history is. Electronic Arts also makes lots of games so there is plenty to do and always something to work on if you are looking for that sort of thing. All in all it is an ok place to work.

Cons

Electronic Arts sometimes feels too big that you are lost inside too big of a company to get recognition or for your individual game to get any recognition from senior management. Also making the same game over and over and over doesn't stimulate creativity like it would at a studio that was always moving to do a brand new franchise. New franchises in Electronic Arts are coming but it is usually from new studios that senior management has bought rather than from internal studios that have been producing games for Electronic Arts for a very long time. We'd like the same opportunity.

Pros

Fast paced startup mindset in an established corporate ladder

Cons

Privatization might cause headcount reduction, change the tempo and culture in the organization. 🤞

Pros

A lot of good and smart people that are able to create good work together.

Cons

Restructuring every year, nepotism, no clear path for career progression at all, senior leadership isn’t communicating clearly, acquisition communication has been non-existent, layoffs are a constant factor and fear, unclear why some people get promoted and many high performers do not
