Pros
- Very good team members with very good professional packgrounds - great opportunity to learn from each other. - Endless E-Mail storage space - never seen that in an other company before. - Very good direct boss, allowing for a good work life balance
Cons
- Drowning burocracy: sector Controlling/Finance overly complicated and chaotic, every month new forms are created & reporting changes. Sector is unable to interpretate own forms - despite the strong focus of the company on profitability, often there is a lack of understanding of the financial figures. - Communication between countries and sector very frequent, but quality is completely missing - a lot of surfaces are scratched, but despite the slowmoving type of business no time for deeper analysis. More figures seem to be always better. - Very strong matrix organisation - one decision 20 people who need to be involved and no-one can take the decision: "Call culture" where hours are spent on the phone without any visible impact. Minutes for meetings are unheard of. - The main strategy: +5% Sales and -5% costs. - SAP introduction was & is a disaster
