Pros
- variety of snacks! - opportunities to bond w/ coworkers regardless of position ex. ping pong, virtual team building events (between both offices), in office board games, team building events in person (local events), team breakfasts once a week - able to voice concerns & feedback to senior leadership - watched the company mature (with growing pains) and clearer direction for the teams and restructured the teams due to necessity so the offices weren't siloed - everyone is continuously learning (with technology, processes/procedures, about each other) - culture is very important and having motivated, passionate, eager to learn employees goes a long way in being successful - senior management is working on more transparency and updates on the company direction which has been great
Cons
- unclear about hybrid option, trying to make the office a safe place to work due to COVID and has the expectations of in office. I think they are figuring it out and trying to be adaptive - would like policies on bereavement, maternity/paternity and other types of leave - COVID has made it difficult for travel between the 2 offices for senior leadership- not their fault, just situational with COVID - can get stressful sometimes either with resourcing or the projects but we generally push through
