Pros

Incredible product. Helping the lives of people.

Cons

CEO Jack Peurach is a narcissistic leader who treats his employees like easily replaceable and worthless humans. He continuously underpays good talent and is completely unwilling to listen to any employee concerns. A recent exodus of operations employees was sparked by an inability to listen to the concerns of his employees and an unwillingness to acknowledge his own shortcomings. During covid-19 forced layoffs, upper management did not even thank great employees who contributed years of work. At Ekso Bionics, you are not treated as a valued member of the team, you are not compensated for your worth, and no matter how hard you work, you'll never be considered anything else but a failure. If you are someone who takes pride in their work and is striving to become great, then Ekso Bionics will do nothing besides bring you down both professionally and emotionally. It is hard to imagine this horrifically understaffed team could ever be successful.

Pros

- Great mentorship and freedom to grow for interns! - They make a really cool product that's life-changing - Great company culture

Cons

- Unfortunately the company doesn't seem to be growing very much, so it's not likely an intern could grow into a full-time role

Pros

Making a positive impact in people’s lives. Working with a new and developing technology is exciting and cool.

Cons

The management team does not take leadership over key issues. Regular employees are not well supported and their critical feedback is ignored or taken as cause for offense. Production and Service departments are chronically understaffed and under resourced.
