Speaking of the Digital Portfolio: Leaders fill their day with politicking meetings fighting over priorities and budgets while the rest of us in middle management and below are caught in the crossfire out in No Mans Land. They promote based on back door alliances and people who have a Maverick attitude and will do whatever they feel is necessary to meet their individual bonus objectives. This organization changes org structure and job details more than I change the oil in my car. Every time they do so, they upend nearly all of the "progress" made to that point. The org is in a perpetual state of Storming and never gets to Performing.
