Pros
-independence -ability to build your own business but not have to run it and have amazing support behind you
Cons
-Regional leadership is made up of financial advisors and they make pretty terrible leaders -so much of your success depends on whether assets are shared with you. I know in other regions sharing assets is done professionally, but in mine it was about how much you stroked the regional leader's ego. -In order to receive a maximum partnership offer you have to hold a leadership role, in my region whether you were granted a leadership position depended entirely on your personal relationship with the regional leader and not at all on your experience. -Company prides itself on being a place where you can achieve work live balance but the firms entire culture is built around making type A employees feel like they are inadequate if they don't produce more.
