No direction - Administrative Assistant Edvo Employee Review

Prior to Edvo, I was a full-time freelancer, and I chose my clients very particularly ... so it says a lot about Edvo that I wanted to come on board this team. But like Sheryl Sandberg said, "If you're offered a seat on a rocket ship, get on." I've had an amazing experience here. The team has fantastic energy - fun, collaborative, always open to dialogue, always available to help - and everyone is a pro at what they do. There are some world-class professionals on board this team, and it's a pleasure to get to work with them everyday. The culture is healthy and supportive (highly productive, but also sensitive to everyone's needs). The work is inspiring. The product is fantastic. The customers are wonderful. If I'm being honest, I've loved working at Edvo even more than I expected when I first joined the team (and I expected to love it when I first interviewed for the job).

It's a small startup, so you have to love startup energy to work here - the type of person who's excited about blazing the trail as you go. If that describes you (it definitely describes me), then there really aren't any cons - the culture here is fantastic.

Culture- The Edvo culture is amazing! The pillars that were created by the co-founders really resonated with me and taught me to be 1% better each day. As a startup the days can be stressful but the leadership always made sure that the team felt appreciated. Leadership- The Edvo leadership was accessible and always ready to hear thoughts on how to make the experience better. They really listened to each team member, and made sure that our opinions were heard and were implemented. Leadership also made sure to spend quality time with each team member and helped each team member with tasks, and making us better. Team- The team members at Edvo are amazing! I was new to the tech industry and Edvo leadership took a risk by bringing me on board, but the team members were always there to help me and teach me new skills everyday! I was truly blessed for this opportunity! I now have a set of skills that will make me better at my next opportunity. Overall working at Edvo has changed my life, I learned a lot in my year. I miss the team everyday, I will never forget all the things and I learned and the people I have met. They are trying to fix a problem that has plagued the job industry for years. I cannot wait to see how they change the world!
