Pros
Impactful Work: As a Project Engineer, I have the opportunity to directly influence the development and execution of projects that contribute to the global shift toward sustainable energy solutions. The projects I manage involve designing and implementing EV solutions that have real-world impact—whether it's improving battery efficiency or optimizing manufacturing processes. Collaboration: The collaborative atmosphere at Ecotron is one of the highlights. There’s a strong emphasis on cross-functional teamwork, where engineers, designers, and business leaders work together to bring projects to life. The open communication channels ensure that everyone’s voice is heard, fostering a truly inclusive work environment. Growth and Learning: The EV industry is constantly evolving, and the company provides ample opportunities to learn and grow. Whether it’s attending workshops on the latest EV technologies or taking part in industry conferences, I feel supported in expanding my knowledge and skills. The leadership team is always encouraging personal development and career progression.
Cons
Work-Life Balance: The work-life balance at Ecotron can be a bit challenging at times. Given the pace of the EV industry, deadlines and project timelines often require long hours or tight turnarounds. While the company does offer some flexibility, the intensity of the work can sometimes make it difficult to fully disconnect from work outside of office hours. Supportive Leadership: While the leadership team is knowledgeable and invested in the company’s success, there can sometimes be a lack of hands-on support when it comes to individual team members. As a Project Engineer, the level of autonomy is both empowering and sometimes overwhelming, especially when quick decision-making or additional guidance is needed. It can feel like there’s a bit of a gap between leadership’s vision and the day-to-day reality of the teams executing the projects.
