Pros
Most coworkers are very helpful people and it's not an overly-competitive environment. Free uniforms.
Cons
Management is out of touch with conditions in the store and has a lot of ways of doing things that make no sense. Workplace claims to be diverse but is actually very segregated in terms of job assignments. Minimum wage despite selling extremely expensive products with high mark-up. Employees required to provide a doctor's note despite not having health insurance and management observing employees are visibly sick (this was pre-pandemic; hopefully this has improved). Extremely large staff has very small break area, meaning you sometimes have to eat lunch standing up, and there is not enough space for large number of employees to store belongings during shift. There is a lot of food waste that could be better rerouted to any number of charities or the staff themselves.
