Pros
You get to work at large manufacturing facilities such as Ford and interact with their engineers extensively. Also, you gain a lot of experience interacting with tooling vendor representatives.
Cons
It's not a very nimble company. They are still trying to catch up to their expansion into the coolant areas at dozens of manufacturing facilities. The focus on getting the coolant groups up and running has taken away from fine tuning the support applications that employees interact with on a daily basis. A lot of the things that should be in online database formats are thrown together in excel files. Also, they do a terrible job training new employees. There is no employee handbook with generalized work instructions for each job position or any of the software applications that employees use frequently throughout the day. These inefficiencies lead to a lack of conformity and knowledge about the correct process for tasks.
