Pros
- Good people to work with (fellow coworkers - not upper management) - Good products (for the most part)
Cons
- Pay is FAR below industry standard. EVGA is renowned as #1 in technical support/Customer service in the industry, also one of the few companies providing 24/7 phone and email support. Yet the pay is FAR SUBPAR for industry standard. - You are told that there is regular reviews and raises, yet this manifests as maybe a 25-50cent raise every year or two ~if you are lucky~. Tech support started at $11/hour when I started, when other similar companies in the area pay around $18-22/hour for entry level tech support. - We are almost always short-staffed. They can't seem to keep people here more than a year or two, because they get burned out very quickly due to too much work and not enough pay. Turnover rate in CS is EXTREMELY high, even by CS standards. So instead of hiring more people, and paying people closer to industry standard, they just pile more work on everyone and expect them to do more work with no increase in pay. - Upper management is completely inept. They pretend to listen to your concerns and make changes, but nothing ever changes. The CEO is only concerned with the bottom line, the employees are second class citizens and completely replaceable in their eyes.
